Portable Telescope

Product Detailed Description

Balcony stargazers and weekend campers get a first honest look at the moon with this portable refractor, sized to pack away after the evening is done. Light enters through the front glass objective and reaches the eyepiece at the rear, so the tube holds its alignment through repeated setup and travel.

Build and optics

High quality glass optic objectives sit in an aluminum optical tube assembly, with a 40mm objective for brighter view at dusk. A focal length of 400mm pairs with a finder scope of 5 x 18mm and two eyepieces, H 12.5mm and H 20mm, so users can switch magnification without extra parts. The aluminum tripod folds down for storage.

For gift assortments

Schools, science clubs and holiday gift programs favor a simple refractor that needs no steep learning curve. Packaging and foam inserts protect the optics in transit.
