Handheld Digital Compass with Calendar

Product Detailed Description

Trailheads, campsites and unfamiliar city streets all ask the same small question: which way now? A handheld digital compass answers it at a glance, with a backlight LCD that stays readable after dusk and a leveling bubble that helps steady the reading when the ground is uneven.

The same housing carries a digital thermometer, a digital clock and a calendar, so direction, temperature and the day's date sit in one pocketable unit. Temperature can be shown in Celsius or Fahrenheit; the clock tracks two time zones in either 12 or 24 hour format, reading hour and minute; the calendar shows month, date and week days. Two AAA batteries power it.

Case and finish are best judged on a sample, which also lets a buyer test button feel, LCD contrast and needle-free response before ordering. Logo placement on the body turns it into a gift for hiking clubs, scout groups, travel agencies and corporate outdoor programs.
