A lit ashtray does more than hold ash. Switch on the button and the LED light inside pulses through the body, turning a plain tabletop piece into a small novelty fixture for bar tops, lounge tables, patios and parties. The glow is controlled by you, so the mood of the room sets the pace.

The shell is molded in PS, a plastic that takes a clean finish and keeps the piece light on the table. A translucent body carries the light through the whole shape instead of hiding it underneath, which keeps the effect visible from most seating angles. The resting slot stays open for everyday use, so the ashtray works with the light off as well as on. Empty and wipe the top section without disturbing the module.
