Foot Kitty FM Scan Radio

Product Detailed Description

A football-shaped novelty radio earns its place on souvenir racks, sports-memorabilia counters and gift-catalog pages. The little kitty-themed body switches on and scans the FM band for the next strong station at a single button press, so listeners skip past the dial fumbling that slows down ordinary pocket sets. Tuning reads out on a digital display.

A micro-controller handles the scan and lock, while the compact speaker chamber is tuned for clear voice reproduction rather than heavy bass. Housings are molded in plastic to keep the finished weight low, which suits commuters, office desks and kids' rooms alike.

Branding and packing

The front panel is a good place for logo printing, and the shaped body can be produced in a house color so the unit reads as a brand mascot rather than a generic radio. A full-color box completes the presentation.

Buyers weighing a range of novelty shapes can test several stations in a weak-signal spot to judge scan speed and lock sensitivity before committing to a program.
