Build and finish

The shell is molded in ABS PC for a rigid feel that stands up to repeated opening and closing. A built-in Li battery 12000AH/3.7V stores a top-up for later, and the solar panel 16V/160mA feeds it during daylight. The 12.6V/ 800mA AC/DC adapter recharges from mains power before a trip.
