DVI Female-VGA Male Video Converter Adapter for Cable

Product Detailed Description

A presenter with a newer laptop and an older projector often needs nothing more than the right link between them. This DVI female to VGA male adapter bridges the two connector standards so a VGA-equipped display can accept a DVI-I source, handy in meeting rooms, classrooms and hotel desks where equipment is mixed.

Build and handling

The compact housing fits neatly into a laptop bag or a desk drawer, and the attached cable run keeps the connection tidy without an extra lead. Contacts are built for repeated plugging, and the molded body favors a firm grip when inserting or removing the adapter.

Compatibility

• Supports hot plugging of DVI-I display devices.
• Works with PC, Mac, Flat Panel Displays, Digital CRT Displays, HDTV and Video Projectors, including DFP and LCD types.
• Not backwards compatible with DVI-D (24+1 pin) connectors.

Gifting and kit fit

Promotional distributors and gift-shop chains place adapters well in branded tech kits tied to laptop upgrades or meeting room refits. Check the mating fit and plug orientation on a sample before ordering volume.
