hourglass

Product Detailed Description

A liquid hourglass brings a slow, watching presence to a desk, shelf, or reception counter, with colored drops drifting through clear oil instead of falling sand. The pace is gentle and continuous, so the piece reads as calm decoration rather than a strict timer.

Build and feel

Each unit is a sealed chamber of liquid around a shaped insert, often finished in acrylic for lightweight durability. The clear body keeps the drifting color on show from every side, and the sealed construction helps the oil stay clean and bright in everyday use.

Where it fits

• Desk drops and office giveaways
• Gift-with-purchase programs
• Retail display alongside other liquid pieces
• Small thank-you gifts for students and collectors

Branding can be applied to suit a campaign or store identity, making the piece a useful canvas for promotional suppliers and distributors. Buyers often pair the classic silhouette with the gourd-shape and upward styles so a display carries one shared motion while each shape stays distinct.

Check the seal and the liquid when comparing options: the chamber should close cleanly with no weeping at the joints, the colored oil should stay clear, and the acrylic should resist scratching in transit.
