ROOFMOUNT DVD

Product Detailed Description

A ceiling-mounted screen that folds down for back-seat passengers keeps long drives calm, and this roof-mount DVD unit is built for exactly that role in minivans, SUVs, vans and bus conversions.

The Sharp panel measures 9.2 inches in a 16:9 display format, with a resolution of 640(W)XRGBX480(H) and 20W power consumption. Playback covers DVD/SVCD/VCD/CD/CD-G/HD-CD/DTS-CD/WMA/MP3/MPEG4(DIVX)/JPEG, so a family's mixed disc collection plays without fuss. The picture can be changed upward or downward, and a bluescreen background keeps the panel tidy between titles.

Control is either by remote control or push button. A built-in TV tuner and FM transmitter are included, and a VGA port is on board. The unit is PAL/NTSC switchable over DC12V, and the optional in-car camera link supports driver rear-view and easier parking. Optional infrared wireless headphones let rear passengers listen without disturbing the front.

The housing takes a logo, and giftbox branding is available for retail programs. Installers and accessory distributors can discuss panel and format needs early to match local vehicle stock.
