Product Detailed Description

A motion-triggered solar spotlight keeps paths, gate pillars and yard edges lit without wiring. Its passive infrared sensor picks up movement across a wide arc, so the light wakes when someone walks past and rests when the area is quiet.

Build and light

Fifteen white LEDs sit behind a non crystal solar panel rated 6V/70mA, with a 5m wire separating panel from lamp for flexible placement. Three Ni-MH batteries at 600mAH store the day's charge. Detection reaches a maximum of 8m across a 180 degree range, and total illumination time runs 3.5h.

Everyday use

Mount it on a fence, shed wall or pergola post and let the panel do the rest; there is no switch to remember and no buried cable to trench. The sealed housing shrugs off ordinary rain and sun, and the adjustable head aims the beam where it is needed.
