Solar cockroach

Product Detailed Description

A solar cockroach on a sunlit windowsill begins to shake the moment daylight reaches its tiny panel, and keeps wobbling along as long as the light holds. No battery to swap, no cord to find, no switch to remember.

Build and movement

The figure runs on a small photovoltaic cell wired to a low-voltage motor, housed in molded plastic on a base that stays put on a flat desk or shelf. Alignment of the panel and gears decides how readily the motion starts, so the piece reads clearly from a short distance.

• Lively, sporty shaking action in ordinary indoor light
• Powered by sunshine alone, an environmentally friendly novelty
• Cheerful desk companion or classroom demonstration piece
• Suitable for stocking fillers and seasonal displays

Gifting and display

Parents and teachers favor a self-moving object that shows cause and effect without a power source, while gift shops, museum stores and promotional buyers get a counter-friendly impulse item that draws attention on its own. Window boxes and printed cartons help it sell itself.

Confirm panel orientation and sample performance under both weak and bright light before ordering, and ask for carton counts when planning volume.
