Product Detailed Description
A little solar locust on a windowsill turns toward the light, then stirs into motion without a battery or cord. It is the kind of cheerful, self-moving novelty that catches the eye on a gift shelf and keeps working on its own.
Build and motion
A small photovoltaic panel feeds a low-voltage motor inside a molded plastic housing. The piece is light in the hand, and on a flat surface it starts up once daylight reaches the panel. Placement near the light matters more than any switch.
Gift appeal
Desk companions, classroom demonstrations and stocking fillers all suit a figure like this one. Parents and teachers appreciate a toy that shows cause and effect with no power source. Promotional lines, museum shops and seasonal displays give it a natural home.
