A path edge at dusk is where a solar ground light earns its keep: the face-mounted panel soaks up daylight all afternoon, the sensor takes over as the light fades, and two LEDs pick out the border without a cable in sight. Set a row along a walkway, ring a shrub, or mark the corner of a driveway.
Build and finish
The housing is aluminum, finished to suit outdoor duty, with a 0.2W/90mA solar panel set into the top face and a Ni-MH(800mAH) cell storing the charge. Each lamp-house carries 2 pcs super luminosity LED behind a lens that spreads the beam across the ground rather than into the sky. Rated work temperature:-25℃ to 65℃, the unit holds up through cold snaps and hot paving alike.
