Tea Towel

A folded tea towel belongs on every kitchen counter, and the ones gathered here run from a plain flat weave to a cotton waffle texture with a deep, honeycomb-like grid. This is the mid range of the shelf: substantial enough for daily drying and wiping, still priced for volume orders. The collection covers the core forms buyers expect, with the flat tea towel as the everyday workhorse and the waffle as the more tactile option.

Construction details matter more than most shoppers assume. A flat tea towel is woven from a straightforward cotton ground, cut and hemmed square so it dries glasses without leaving lint. The waffle version uses a raised cellular structure that traps air and lifts moisture from wet hands. Cotton fibers absorb well and hold up through repeated laundering, which is why this material dominates the category rather than synthetics.

Buyers source these towels for promotional programs, hotel and restaurant supply, housewares chains, and gift baskets. End users are home cooks, bakers, and hosts who want a cloth that hangs on a rail and handles hot pans. Wholesale checks should cover hem stitching, size consistency across the bundle, absorbency after washing, and whether the yarn shades match from lot to lot.

The shelf also holds a cotton waffle tea towel alongside the flat option, so a buyer can build a mixed assortment without stretching across categories. Promotional suppliers favor the flat weave for printed logos because the smooth surface takes decoration cleanly, while the waffle reads as a premium step up for retail shelves. Stocking both gives a range that covers everyday and upgrade price points.

Merchandise the group near the kitchen towel and hand towel sections to capture shoppers already restocking household linens. Display folded towels in stacks by color so the texture difference is visible at a glance, and keep the waffle items slightly forward where the grid can be felt. For gift programs, a bundled pair of flat and waffle towels presents a coherent set with clear value.
