Product Detailed Description
An older laptop with a failing tray drive no longer has to mean a dead machine. Pair it with this slim external DVD-ROM and the discs you already own stay readable, from software installers to archived project files.
Build and portability
The clamshell body opens to accept a disc and closes flat for carrying, and the USB cable tucks away at the bottom instead of tangling in a bag. Power comes from that same cable, so no separate adapter is needed.
Where it fits
- Fitting out refurbished notebooks for resale
- Keeping legacy software discs in service
- Reading archived media and audio collections
- Adding disc access to a shared office desk
