iPod USB Data Cable

Product Detailed Description

Syncing an older handset with a desktop or laptop is the everyday job this lead was made for. Files travel in both directions over a single cord, so contacts, ring tones and photos can move from phone to PC and back again without extra hardware.

Build and handling

Molded connectors sit at each end of a flexible jacket, with strain relief where the plug meets the cord, the spot that usually wears out first. The rugged black finish shrugs off scuffs from pocket and bag duty, and the light build makes the cable easy to carry between desk, car and travel bag.

Software and setup

An attached CD driver is included, so buyers can install the driver on the PC before the first sync. Once connected, the lead handles phone book and PC synchronization and lets users upload ring tones to the handset. The same cord carries charging current from a powered port.
