Product Detailed Description
Active USB cables allow you to run external USB based devices without the need for extra power adapters. The end of the cable has a signal repeater/booster that strengthens both the data signal and USB power at its weakest point. Ideal uses for these cables include external DVD and hard drives, cameras, or any other external peripheral that requires a power adapter up to 500mA. These cables can also be joined together to span a distance of up to 80' from the PC. The cables are shielded to help eliminate electrical interference.
Features:
Cable length: 16 feet / 5 meters
Built in signal booster
Active USB cable increases the length of your device cable without signal and power output loss
Connectors: USB Type A female to Type A male
Cable length can be extended up to 80 feet by chaining 5 of these active cables
Fully compatible with USB 2.0 Hi-Speed USB specification
Both low and high speed USB devices will function equally well with this USB extension cable
