Wood Rulers

Wood rulers sit at the meeting point of desk work and handwork, where a straight edge is needed for drawing lines, trimming paper, or marking a cut. The five pieces on this shelf range from plain school stock to folding designs and boxes paired with colored pencils, giving buyers a compact, mid-range selection to organize into a promotional program or a stationery assortment.

Construction favors lightweight stock that travels well. Straight rulers are printed or engraved along a beveled edge so markings stay readable, while the folding ruler breaks into short sections joined at riveted hinges for pocket or toolbox storage. Wood takes customization cleanly, so a logo, school name, or event date can be burned or printed directly onto the face and packing.

Wholesale buyers — importers, distributors, and promotional suppliers — treat this family as an easy add-on to writing instrument orders and drawing sets. End users are equally broad: students measuring in art class, drafters sketching layouts, carpenters checking small dimensions, and event guests who keep a branded ruler long after a trade show. The childrens color pencils box with a wooden ruler inside shows how naturally the piece pairs with other desk goods.

Print quality should be the first check on any sample. Confirm that graduations stay legible on both edges, that ink does not lift when a thumb slides along the surface, and that hinges on a folding ruler hold their angle without wobble. Ask about the sanding on ends and edges, since splinters are the usual complaint from end users, and inspect a carton for warping after transit.

Sourcing conversations go smoother when the measure system is settled early, since promotional programs often need markings in both metric and standard units. Request a blank sample to judge thickness and weight in the hand, and a decorated sample to see how a logo reads against the grain. These rulers are suitable for promotional purposes precisely because a small, useful object earns repeat handling.
