Fitting a card reader into a spare optical or floppy bay brings everyday memory card access to the front panel, right where a photographer, student or office worker needs it. No dongle on the desk, no reaching around the back of the tower.
Build and fit
Each unit pairs a reader board and slot fascia with a short internal cable, held in a metal or plastic frame sized to standard bay openings and mounted where an optical drive or floppy bay once sat. Slots accept the common SD, MMC and T Flash micro SD formats, so one bay serves cameras, phones and handheld consoles. A Switch variant adds a physical toggle on the bay face for users who want to disable the reader when it is not needed.
Buying notes
Confirm the bay width, the header type on the board and the cable length before committing to a volume order. Plain and Switch variants mix comfortably in one run, and compact packaging keeps the range tidy on a computer hardware accessories shelf.
