Knitted Blanket Suitable for Children

Product Detailed Description

A stroller or car seat calls for a cover that stays put and feels kind against a child's face. Pure cotton yarn worked in compact, closely set stitches gives this knitted blanket its gentle surface and its soft, breathable hand, so it layers comfortably in a mild room without bulk.

Build and finish

The knitting repeats with even tension from piece to piece, keeping stitch density and thickness steady across a run. Edges are turned and bound rather than left raw, and the hem should sit flat with no loose yarn ends at the corners.

Where it works

• Cribs and strollers
• Car seats
• Lap cover at home
• Everyday cuddle blanket

Decoration and gifting

Suppliers can attach a woven label or an embroidered name to suit infant and juvenile programs, keeping artwork small and soft-edged. It suits baby-shower favors, nursery bundles and gift-shop displays in soft neutral or pastel tones.

Purchasing note

Confirm yarn composition and gauge in writing, review samples in each colorway, and check shrinkage after laundering before committing to a run.
