Monitor
The monitor branch gathers two quite different product families under one roof: computer display hardware and standalone monitoring devices. As a container category within electric gifts, it offers importers a broad program spanning office displays, in-vehicle screens, and health-monitoring equipment.
Child categories begin with LCD computer monitors across several screen sizes, including TFT and VGA-input models, and continue through CRT monitors, TV monitors, and touch-screen monitors for interactive use. A second family covers purpose-built monitoring: baby monitor kits, blood pressure monitors, car monitors, and roofmount displays for vehicles.
Plastic and metal housings dominate the display listings, with stands and mounting hardware varying by intended placement, while the health-monitoring devices use softer medical-grade plastics and simple control layouts. Display quality and mounting hardware matter on the screen side; sensor readability and control simplicity matter on the monitoring side.
Trade buyers split accordingly: computer retailers and office equipment distributors buy the display family, while healthcare suppliers, automotive accessory shops, and childcare retailers buy the monitoring family. Gift distributors occasionally take touch monitors for interactive display programs.
Customization runs along the same divide: display buyers request branded bezels and packaging, while monitoring-device buyers request label printing and localized manuals. OEM projects exist on both sides but are more common in the health-monitoring family, where shell and interface design carry the product.
Sourcing should begin by deciding which family the target market wants, since the two share little beyond the category name. Sampling across the touch monitor and baby monitor tiers before committing reveals which side of the branch matches the channel's strength, and order planning should keep the two families in separate lines, since their reorder cycles and inspection routines differ.
