Ceiling-mounted protection for a hallway, stairwell, or back room starts with a sensor that reads the room quietly and raises a signal only when someone crosses its view. This passive infrared detector is aimed at residential and light commercial installations where invisible coverage matters more than visible hardware.
The segmented lens watches a narrow field, and direction identification lets the circuit tell an approach from an exit: entering from outside triggers the alarm, while leaving from inside passes without one. A normal close alarm output and normal close anti tamper switch suit standard panel wiring, and the low static current favors long standby periods. The housing fixes to the ceiling and blends into ordinary trim.
